Rockin 'in Rhythm, Take The A Train Satin Doll or - famous jazz songs will be played live in the great Lucerna Hall in Prauge on 26.4. 2014 and one day later, 27.4 in newly constructed multi-purpose hall in Brno.  

These days will be changed into a music festival by one of the most important and longest-established international big bands, associated with the icon of the jazz - DUKE ELLINGTON ORCHESTRA,  these musicians will be back in Czech Republic after almost two years. Although the orchestra is playing without it's  founding father, his descendants ensure that  the traditions and high musical standards are maintaned. 

Duke Ellington was born April 29, 1899, in Washington, D.C. A major figure in the history of jazz music, his career spanned more than half a century, during which time he composed thousands of songs for the stage, screen and contemporary songbook. He created one of the most distinctive ensemble sounds in Western music and continued to play what he called "American Music" until shortly before his death in 1974.
